The working of multicolored mini lights

The mini lights have either a series or a parallel arrangement. The bulbs that are in use for this purpose are the incandescent bulbs or the LED bulbs. These bulbs in addition to their normal configuration also have a shunt resistance that regulates the amount of the current that would flow in the bulbs. This shunt makes it possible that the same amount of current flows through the bulbs. Therefore, the current does not damage a single bulb and they all glow with the same intensity.

This shunt in addition to the above-mentioned functionality also makes it possible that when one bulb in the string goes off the remaining ones keep working. Alternatively, in its absence, the circuit would have become incomplete and therefore the string would have stopped working wholly.

The advantages of multicolor mini lights

The use of the mini lights is for the decorative purposes. Therefore, instead of the clear lights when we use the colored mini lights then they serve better decoration. We can use such colors, which depict the mode or the aim for the celebration or the decoration.
