According to the theory of architecture a good building must satisfy following principles they are durability- means it should stand up and remain in good conditions all the time. utility- it should be useful, and function well when people starts using it. Beauty- it should delight people and raise spirits. Architects must strive hard in order to fulfill these basic needs of design

In 15 century the role of the architect is to be concerned with the constructions, it considers all the practices of the site. Some people considered this practice must work and must please the needs of those who use it

Later after some years this profession considered giving architectural services.

The role of the architects was extended to participate in planning, designing and giving oversight to the proposed building. These profession is now consider to give feasibility study and to estimate cost for the builder as well as considering functional requirement and non functional requirement

These days the role of architects are increasing day by day, especially after retail boom. the role of architect is to implement design in environment where people live ,since architects need to deal with diverse range of projects so they must go through a formal education in which they get professional training of architectures

The work of architect is not limited to construction related fields only, it is a interdisciplinary field which requires knowledge of various other fields like mathematics, science, geography, technology, social science and history. Traditionally each architect design any construction according to his philosophy

Architecture has bring structural and aesthetic consideration of the buildings where it is purely focus on functionality and ,functionality can be seen as giving perception, and enjoyment to the client. These are not only necessary but also helpful to meet aesthetic, psychological and cultural expectation of the client

Not only functional needs, but it goes beyond from the boundary where it was consider to give only functional needs, now it is an era in which ,it focus on various aspects of designs like geography, science and human values.
