Navigators Verandah

A verandah is a fully roofed structure. It could be on any side of the house such as the front, back or any of the sides. A front verandah is the first thing a visitor's eyes fall on when they enter the house. Hence, the verandah gives the entry into the house and its inhabitants.

If the verandah is at the back of the house, there is a lot more privacy. You can sit and enjoy with your loved ones in the privacy of your verandah. It does not face the entrance of the house and hence not too many people would know of it. Verandahs are usually open on three sides and have a wall on one side. Thus, they are very spacious. Also, it is airy with a lot of air circulation. It is indeed very healthy to spend some time in your verandah everyday.

To make your verandah more attractive and interesting, you can decorate it in different styles. Any kind of theme can be adopted depending on your personality or the likes of your loved ones. Verandahs are present in a lot of places. Some of these are houses, restaurants, bars, coffee shops and even ships.
