Cucumber seeds can be sown in 2 inches deep when the soil is slightly warm. The cucumber can not withstand frost and wind. So cover and mulch them to prevent weather. It can grow fast if you water properly. You can take harvest within 2 month. Pumpkin seeds can be sown in rows and in 4 inches deep. Sow them after fall. You can sow tomato seeds in 1 inch deep in a well drained soil. Some varieties are having diseases resistant capacity and so buy those seeds.

Before sowing seeds in your vegetable check for any disease. Since seed borne disease harms not only that plant but also other plants in your vegetable garden as they spread easily. Always buy seeds from reliable supplier.
