Selecting Healthy Plants For Your Garden

When you are going to start your gardening then there are two choices to plant. You can plant the seeds or you can install the plant. But buying seed and planting it is very interesting thing as you can observe the plant growing and grooming. Although it is interesting to see it; it is risky factor. As you are not sure among all seeds you planted which will survive and which will die. Hence installing the ready made plant is easy one.

While purchasing the ready made plant you can see that peoples from the nursery uses more fertilizers and you have to select the healthiest one among them.

The next thing to consider is health of the plant. Here you have to choose the healthy plant; you will come to know when you will look at it. It must be fresh looking it shows that there are free from pests and diseases. If the leaves of the plants are holy or wilted stems, you have to understand that plant is not properly grown or it has some bugs.

It is mandatory to purchase the plants which has flowers because it indicates the good health of the plant. If any plant is not having the flowers or buds then avoid those plants because it may be the case of shocks. It means while transplant roots may got damaged.

The next thing to check while purchasing the plant is check the roots of the plants. Look whether it is over gowned or not grown. About the roots you will come to know from the plant. Roots must not be soft, brown or rotten. They should firm, well infrastructure which holds the soil together. Hence if there are lot of roots and less soil or vice versa you have to avoid that plant.

If you will come to across any abnormalities in the plant such as shape of the root or any irregular features then you should ask it for the nursery man about the health of the plant.
