Planting vegetables in patch is easy to look after as; the arrangement of the plants is well planed before harvesting. Because of this arrangement growth of plants will be systematic and uniform as each plant will get nourished well.

If you wanted to create a vegetable patch then you need a patch of 10mX 3m and prefer t plant only one vegetable crop as it will give more profit after harvesting. For this purpose you have to research for at least five types of vegetables and you have to select any one among them according to your budget, profit and exact garden layout. According to these selections go for the seed and plant those seeds accordingly.

To select the vegetable to plant in your garden you have to consider few things as follows

* How is the current market for the vegetable you have selected to harvest in your garden?

* You have to check that how many seeds will be fit in the patch by considering the required spacing in between them.

* The next thing is to consider the expected yield from the seeds you have chosen vegetable.

Steps to carry out:

After completion of the primary survey about how to select the vegetable now its turn to carry out some steps for the harvesting purpose.

* First of all you have to print out the summary sheet.

* This summary sheet will include the details of all vegetable seeds you have selected.

* This will include cost of the seed, plant spacing particularly in number of rows, plants per row, and total number of vegetables. The next information will be of sale price.

* You have carry out all these things for each seed you have selected previously.

* Research all these selected 5 seeds to organize the information.

* Now from this research select one crop among them which will return most money after harvesting it.

Now develop your garden lay out. For this purpose you can make use of patch plan which will consist of number of rows, plants per row, and the total number of vegetables.
